Guest guest
Good Luck Jen...yes it's always concerning when you have anything that feels like it might be breast cancer, but I've had fibrocystic breasts for as long as I can remember so I can't really check my own. The one time I did have a legitimate 'lump', it ended up being a fluid filled cyst. My mom just finished chemo for breast cancer too, and is now in radiation. > we had a follow up with the pead and things went well. We don't have to go back for another 12 mths unless something changes. He was quite encouraged with the progress has made. So that was good. > > Then, went off to the GP for a pap test as it had not been done since was born. The doc did a breast exam and found a " thickened " area and guess who is off for a mammogram next week!!!! ARRGHHH. She is not too concerned but as my Mum has had two breast cancers removed we have to take it seriously. (she got her first at around 45) Needless to say I don't think I will tell her about it. > > I was pretty cool about it all today but as time goes by your mind plays games with you doesn't it and you think about it more and more. > > Anyway, should be all Ok. > > Jen > > Mum to 5 (NT) and who got another award at school today and Mum is pretty happy about that!!! > 2 yrs 5 mths(ASD) > > > > > > >
