JD, sorry to hear that your doctor said you only have 20 months. As you know

from reading on this group, the doctors don't know everything. Many people

outlive their doctor's prognosis, thankfully. As you say, NEVER GIVE UP THE

FIGHT. That means taking care of yourself. Eat healthy foods, get enough sleep,

walk for exercise, try to reduce your stress. There is no sense in being sad.

Smile and laugh and enjoy each day of the years that you have left. And pray a

lot! God loves you and is waiting for your return to Him, but prayer can delay

the inevitable. I pray that God keeps you safe and healthy and with your loved

one(s). Hang in there. God bless.

I was diagnosed with small bowel cancer in April. It has a very poor

prognosis; usually 20 months or so since it usually throws out mets to

the liver and stomach. Luckily, mine didn't.

I had surgery and the folfox regime. I am one lucky person since my

cancer is in remission with no signs of it in me. I know my fight may

not be over but NEVER give up hope.
