Anyone know the answer? > There are people who react poorly to DMSA chelation and are able to tolerate ALA chelation a little bit better. The only way to know is to try. If the person is only able to tolerate very small doses of DMSA, such as 5-6 mg, then I suggest they try the same quantity of ALA per dose. (As long as it has been at least 3 mo since amalgam removal or recent exposure).
