Postman husband says it depends on volume of mail and time available - first

class gets sorted first, then if there's time they sort the second, if not

it's left till the next day.

He also says never put a first class stamp on a local letter as they always

get sorted straight away anyway (not quite sure on the reasoning behing that

one) but there you go......
