Guest guest
Mark re detoxing and clearing herxing I have the constipation problem either from mercury or bug die off likely both Here is what i found helps me stay regular * 4-6 tablespoons of organic psyllium through the day * 4-5 tablespoons of organic apple sauce through the day * Per each meal ** 3-4 tabs Enzymes (Source Natural Daily Essential Enzymes Brand,; ** 3-5 tabls per meal Betaine HCL (AI says we need for digestion); ** 8 mgs Biotin (for yeast) and ** 2-3 tablets of 200mcg chromiun picolinate (for blood sugar lowering, actually i believe its an adaption (?spelling); which means it helps lower high blood sugar and raise low blood sugar) * magnesium citrate tablets (2 tablets times 170 mgs) with each chelation dose (per Andersoan and i believe she got this from Andy Cutler * also take a teapsoon of magnesium citrate twice a day (i think this is about 800-100 mgs each teaspoon) * when things get bad I do a day or so of quasi vitaimn C flush (which is taking a teaspoon of buffered vitamin C - I do with salt as well for lyme- every 30 mins euntil bowels loosen up * 2-3 helpings of fruit (separate from veggies per health people) * make sure I eat 3-4 sprigs of celery with all protein (per my NP, this helps in digestion of protein) * no processed foods and very low sugar. I try to eat mostly organic * lots of distilled water. I have read that distilled water has no bugs in it even though it also has no nutrients. I have been buying distilled water from Whole foods for the last two months Other comments A) Personally I have not had good luck with coffee enemas..it actually seems to worsen the flow of things.Maybe as Dean said in earlier post its due to my weak adrenals regular warm water and apple cider vinegar enemas(I believe it is) I have tried and seems to work well C)The first 3 months of chelation were very bad from a constipation perspective..Its only in the last two months ( month 6-8) that i have more regular stools and less constipation..so i think its sacombination of less mercury and the protocol above and below. I have also just went through a period (root canal removal and I believe 6 month mercruy dump) where constipation was bad again D) I started the www.wtsmed.com (wilson temperature syndrome) for low thyroid and my understanding is higher temps contribute to better digestion as your furnace burns a little stronger and apparently higher temps help in stomach enzyme activation and conversion (MY NP's analogy) . However per AI, you must treat adrenals first which i did for the first 6 months with HC(hydrocortisone), before i went after thyroid. After about 2.5 months my temps are close to normal. I seemed to notice that my regularly got better as soon as i was on the thyroid meds (T3) E) probiotics to start off really messed me up. As I believe it was who said the herxing is from the toxin die off...which can probably cause more constipation..For me it also caused much burning in the back after even one tablet Hope this helps " mhj6119 " wrote: > I have lyme disease and need to detox from the bacterial die off. > Are you sure about the caffeine absorbtion? Guest guest
Hi - I agree - coffee enemas were of limited benefit for me. They never made me worse but rarely seemed to help. I've had far better luck with castor oil packs and also with limiting sulfur foods/supplements, phenols, and salicylates. I had a sulfur food containing meal last night and felt lots worse for the rest of the evening. Better today though. Is helping you with Lyme too? Just wondering because you mentioned salt/C. What does she recommend for Lyme? I mentioned I was taking salt/C when I went to see her, but she didn't comment. I don't think Lyme is a dominant issue for me, though I did test positive 4 years ago (but only barely). Using it for short periods of time for detox is okay, but not long-term. (I know there are two schools of though of this and I have been in both camps, but now am against consistent consumption of distilled water). If you continue you'll have to find away of adding some pure trace elements to the mix. > > D) I started the www.wtsmed.com (wilson temperature syndrome) for low > thyroid and my understanding is higher temps contribute to better > digestion as your furnace burns a little stronger and apparently > higher temps help in stomach enzyme activation and conversion > (MY NP's analogy) . Was it the 's dr suggestion to treat the adrenals, or did you learn that on this list? Oh, and did you have your adrenals tested? (I'm sorry I forgot).
