Mini-Conference on Transition

College: The Next Step

Saturday, February 2, 2008

9am-1pm

Administrators and teachers will share the strategies use to help prepare

students with disabilities to be successful in college.

Guidance counselors will discuss difference between high school and college.

Young adults will identify the importance of learning self advocacy and ways

to be successful in college.

Transition to Post Secondary Education for Students Receiving Special

Education Services

Students, parents, grandparents, caregivers and educators are invited to

attend. Continental breakfast and lunch are provided. The Mini-Conference is

FREE, please pre-register.
