Guest guest
You mentioned getting more digestive problems with ALA.. nausea, muscle fatigue goes along with what I experienced ,This was because ALA removes glutathione from the liver.. pg 204 AI>... My gallbladder/liver crashed with nausea. For me phosphaytidylcholine , and NAC brought me back. The glutathione connection is a biggey for me,, makes my life lovely with high doses of NAC, etc. Do not know what the person with high cysteine does as they do not do well with NAC.. nanci > > ALA is getting me really frustrated. > > It is now about 18 months since I had my last filling removed, and I > have been trough about 40 rounds > of (mostly) DMSA. In a message on the Frequent Dose Chelation group Andy Cutler says: " I estimate that 33-50 % of mercury toxic people have elevated cysteine. If you have elevated cysteine and you want to convert some glutathione, take 2:1 weight ratio of glutamine and glycine and your body will do the rest. " Please read this link that includes information from Dr Cutler on sulfur, cysteine levels and other important information related to this subject. http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/sulfur_sulphur_foods.html This is some of the best advice for people who do not do well with sulphur foods and supp's Hope it also helps you Kyrre Kai > > nanci > ------------------------------------ > >
Guest guest
With burning eyes, visionary problems, diffculty concentrating and english not been my native language this is alot to handle... I have done several chenges to my diet, both considering toxidity and yeast. For yeast I have been using Goldenseal, coconut oil, garlic (stopped), aloe vera juice and probiotics. I have excluded or limited the intake of sulphur foods. Do all suplhur food gead yeast, or is there a difference between those high and low in thiols ? Alka Seltzer (Gold) is not something I can get in my country, but there might be similar products. Since ALA is what is going to 'fix' me I really want to get going. Right now I feel things are going in the wrong direction. - Kyrre > > > > ALA is getting me really frustrated. > > > > It is now about 18 months since I had my last filling removed, and I > > have been trough about 40 rounds > > of (mostly) DMSA. I found a post from Andy recently where he clarifies that statement about ALA removing glutathione - http://onibasu.com/archives/am/128360.html For raising the rate of glutathione production when cysteine is high: http://onibasu.com/archives/amc/873.html http://onibasu.com/archives/amc/2486.html http://onibasu.com/archives/amc/3380.html Related information: http://onibasu.com/wiki/Cutler_protocol#The_liver_and_mercury (*** New section) http://onibasu.com/wiki/Liver_support http://onibasu.com/wiki/Glutathione Jay
