Guest guest
some thoughts Sunny as i understand it, elimination of mercury is primarily through kidneys i have been chelating for 10 months and i still go through periods (when i increase a dose of chelators), where i am up a couple of times to urinate. I know its annoying but i think just a function of kidneys dumping toxins has provided me with a kidney support herb its called Chanca Piedra and it seems to help a little. You may be able to order it from another health care provider also you may want to try some other treatments to help you sleep or get back to sleep including klonoprin/ambien/melatonin and for me taking hydrocortisone at night for adrenals (if adrenals are a problem) also seemed to calm be down through the night (ie and help with sleep or getting back to sleep) -- In frequent-dose-chelation , " sfhsuperman " wrote: > > Hello All - I have done 4 rounds of DMSA but taken a break due to > personal reasons. Guest guest
For kidney/ bladder support , I really like nettle tea. Alot of health food stores carry it . It tastes rather soothing and it is wonderful for calming the kidneys . If you need to rotate herbs , chrysanthemum tea is also good. I figure it is good to always be taking once you are prone to kidney problems as during chelation with the DMSA they are apt to get stressed. I find now I now ahead of time that my kidneys are starting to bother me. I get more tired -- a different sort of tired than when my liver is bothering me.. I also like to brew some in the morning and keep it in a thermos for later . Nanci
Guest guest
Hi Sunny, If you are producing also a lot of urine, that is likely to be a pituitary problem. The pituitary gland produces a hormone -vasopressin- which tells your kidneys to concentrate urine. Often the pituitary gland does not work properly due to mercury toxicity. The condition is called diabetes insipidus. ALA chelation should improve this condition. I suffered it before and now the problem seems to be fixed, but you have to be patient. Hope this helps, > > Hello All - I have done 4 rounds of DMSA but taken a break due to > personal reasons. Recently I have developed frequent urination problem > at night. Guest guest
Cutler suggests carbamazepime and desmopressin. Beware because carbamazepime reduces copper excretion so probably desmopressin is the right choice for you. You will need a prescription. I am sorry I have no experience using these substances. Hope this helps, P.S.: Have you tested for copper toxicity? > > > > Hi Sunny, > > > > If you are producing also a lot of urine, that is likely to be a > > pituitary problem. Guest guest
, I'm glad to hear its better for you, I've had this problem for many years now, haven't gotten a chance to start chelation yet, so am hoping I can resolve it at some point! And I know you are correct about the diabetes insipidus, I'd learned about that also. Guest guest
Thanks, for the input!!! Yes, my doctor did my hair analysis through ARL lab. Guest guest
Hi Sunny Frequent urination can also be a sign of adrenal stress. If the DMSA / ALA dose is too high it can stress the adrenals and cause frequent urination. Have you tested your adrenals with a saliva test? It might be worth doing this and if necessary getting on some adrenal support in order to continue chelating. I still make too much urine, but not nearly as much as before. I increased the salt intake both by salting my food well and drinking electrolyte mixtures.
