The endocrinologist at Diagnostech, Dr Kamal, said to me that that you should be off TOPICAL progesterone for 6-8 weeks, because, " Topical progesterone is very famous for causing a significant elevation in salivary progesterone level which does not necessarily correlate with other tissue level " . I found many other sources when googling: " topical progesterone; falsely elevated saliva test " . Do you have other sources so that we can get to the bottom of this important question? Thanks, Dean --------------------- Hi guys, I have never used DiagnosTechs, so not familiar with them, but at ZRT, they have different reference ranges for when you are *not* using any progresterone cream and when you are. My sister's doctor wants her off progesterone cream for at least 2 months before she does a month long hormone test, but I believe it is through Genova lab (Great Smokies). So that's about all I know about this. Jackie
