He's my husband, 39 years old.

In an earlier posting (need a push in the right direction) I talked

about seeing the doctor (family practice) for a try at hydrocortisone

for adrenal insuffiency. We went today and he said he was not

comfortable prescribing HC on a daily basis but was ok with a

prednisolone taper. He ordered it at 5 mg 3x's a day. Then said that

i could taper it down to once a day and he will see us in a month.

That was the extent of the instructions.

I know that prednisolone at 5mg is the equivalent to 20mg of HC. I

don't think I will be doing his exact dosing unless someone who has

done this sort of thing tells me it went ok for them.
