djur1: Hello Jackie, thank's for your opinion.

No I am not from US, but I have my doctor in New York area and I

visited him in July. I will have follow-up phone consult with him soon

and I must ask him why does he choose saliva cortisol test rather than

blood test.

-----------The saliva test is what we suggest and is usually the most

informative. I had just never heard of the company where yours was done before,

that's all. And your test does show you low in the morning, and on the lower

end all day, really, so it does suggest some adrenal fatigue.----------Jackie

probably accurate. Do you have symptoms of adrenal fatigue? Are you

tired in the morning and have a hard time getting going? If you are

having symptoms, you will probably benefit from adrenal

support.---------Jackie

djur1: Yes, I am totally tired in the morning. But it may be also my

Lyme symptom, so it's hard to distinguish.

I guess that trial with very low dose Cortef (2,5mg) may be beneficial.

------------There are lots of links in the Links section of this group with

adrenal information. Maybe you should read those and/or one of the books? The

book Adrenal Fatigue, 21st Century Stress Syndrome, does a very good job of

explaining what the symptoms are and how you get there. The link with

" compounder " in it has some good info too, and is a couple pages that you could

print out. There are alot of things to do to help with adrenal fatigue, and

that has a good list of them. The low dose Cortef will probably be very

helpful, but the other things might help too.-------------Jackie

Thank's,

djur1
