Guest guest
You ladies are amazing!! One hour ago I posted a feeling down message and already I feel better. You are the best!! and no one said " the boy will be fine " LOL Thanks so much to all of you!! Could you all move to Maine? There is lots of room Now I know why you call it a roller coaster ride.... and rides have always made me sick to my stomach!! Yesterday on 's daily report... " turned pages in a book on request " I almost drove off the road. I was in tear, I was so excited!! (I did ask them today if I read it right lol) Today tantrums most of the day because the teacher is trying to finish his ELAP and he doesn't want to do anything she asks so he lays on the floor and cries a few minutes, gets up, asked, lays down etc...The teachers are all great and this one said they worked through it and let him take his time. I know in my head that as they set goals etc, it will get hard for him but now I am second guessing myself. Is it fair to make a 2 1/2 do all these things instead of being home playing and being 2?? I don't know, its UP one day, down the next.....I am only 2 months into a DX and I feel so freaked out. I think I am expecting too much too soon and my heart wants things to go perfect...with all smiles and happy kiddos... OK done the pity party for today Thanks for listening Warm Regards & ASD 11/25/00 in Maine --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Guest guest
Well I can't move to Maine permanently. But I do have property up there .... my mother is from Winthrop, Maine (outside of Augusta) ... and my family still has property up there on a beautiful lake. It's been far too many years since I've been able to visit and vacation there. But maybe some day in the future we can get ourselves back ... if so, I'm looking you up! And yes, these people here are amazing, aren't they?? Debbie with twins - Jordan (ASD) 2.5yo - (NT) 2.5yo
