Guest guest
This may not be advised by some doctors and may not be right for everyone. However, flu is running rampant in this area. is a teacher so very exposed. Although she and I can easily maintain separation in the house if she gets sick, there is still significant risk. Therefore, today, my pulmonologist prescribed Tamiflu for me and recommended getting it filled and keeping it handy. My instructions are not only to start it immediately if I get flu symptoms, but to start it immediately if she gets the flu. I remember when Beth had H1N1 the doctor prescribed it for her parents. It's certainly worth talking to your doctor about. Regardless, it is critically important to start Tamiflu within the first 48 hours of the flu. The colleges here are experiencing lots of flu and now its starting to hit the high schools heavy as well.
