Guest guest Posted December 23, 2005 Report Share Posted December 23, 2005 My husband wants to slowly get rid of the pain medication. Sam's surgery was last August and his chemo was over last month. His last radiation treatment was November 30. He has stopped the 50 mcg Fentanyl patch and is now on the 25 mcg patch. Ten days ago he was in a lot of pain and went to bed and covered up for several hours. The neuropathy in his legs bothers him and he has spasms in the rectum where the colon was reattached. His pain patches run out one week from now but he doesn't want to buy any more. If he is still in pain, he wants to take either the Tylenol with Codeine #3 *OR* 30 mg. Oxycodone. What should he take first, the Oxycodone until it is finished and then the Tylenol? Or vice versa? Thanks in advance. ~Deb from KS --------------------------------- Yahoo!
