some people call kinesiologists " witch doctors " . They evaluate bodiloy

functions by testing your muscles. They have knowledge of muscle movements and

their relationship to the body. Some are Applied Kinesiologist wanna be's and I

have been to a couple of those and wasted money. But I swear that this guy is

so informed on conventional medicine as well as homeopathic...it is amazing. I

have taken things he has said back to my cardiologist and onc and they both have

agreed with his research.......

To each his own....as I said, even though he said there was no cancer in my

body, I still did the chemo.

So is what I am hearing is that there is no " test " that will tell

you 100% that you are clear of this terrible cancer? Did I hear you

No I would say no ONE test but a combination of tests would tell you.

You want a

Colonoscopy

CT/PET scan

MRI

CEA

That should tell you that you are clear. There is another newer blood test you

can ask for that can detect minute cells and the name escapes me. Priscilla was

discussing it before Christmas.

As for staying close to home yes I would. There areprobably wonderful Cancer

Centers right near you, but if you want top ranked centers a few are MD

in Texas and Sloan Kittering in New York

also USC/UCLA Medical in California, Roswell Clinic in Buffalo NY, Hopkins

in Baltimore, MD and Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland OH, and Allegheny General and

Univerity of Pittsburgh Medical Centers in Pittsburgh PA (cutting edge for liver

tumors).

BUT most major centers tap into these and stay up on the latest treatments.

We went to Regional Cancer Center in Erie, PA and they were ALWAYS conferring

with other doctors at all these centers to find the best treatment option.

A little hint when you go to the oncologist ask him/her how they feel about

reffering you out if they can no longer treat you themselves. If they seem at

all hesitant consider another doctor.

Doug, My Onc told me there is no test and no way to ever know if we

are 100% free of this awful cancer. I know it really is sad with all

the modern medicine and we still do not hve this going for us. Love,
