Marty:

I have the nosebleeds too. It must be Avastin.

Hang in there. You are at the end. Things will be better soon.

My BP has been quite a bit higher than its usual athletic self.

No bleeding, except for occasional nosebleeds.

and Marty,

My father was on 15 cycles of Avastin -- he developed high blood pressure after

about 1 year and takes medication for it. He had nosebleeds only twice. But the

biggest concern is the protein level in the urine -- if it's too hight, it means

that the kidneys are not working well. My father had to stop Avastin for a few

months to let the kidneys rest... we hope he can resume it soon since Avastin

really works well to control his tumors.

Hugs,

Nickie

Praying for your dad Nickie.. Is a shame the drugs that work so well to kill

the cancer, are so hard on the healthy part of our bodies as well..

Hi ,

My blood pressure has gone up but it was low enough to

start with that there isn't any danger yet. We shall

see what happens later on. I am not worried too much

about blood pressure anyway except if I have a stroke

I hope it kills me outright.

As to the bleeding I have had a lot of blood in my

urin, but I think that may be caused by the stint in

my urator. It is not a big concern to the doctors.
