Guest guest
and Marty, My father was on 15 cycles of Avastin -- he developed high blood pressure after about 1 year and takes medication for it. He had nosebleeds only twice. But the biggest concern is the protein level in the urine -- if it's too hight, it means that the kidneys are not working well. My father had to stop Avastin for a few months to let the kidneys rest... we hope he can resume it soon since Avastin really works well to control his tumors. Guest guest
Praying for your dad Nickie.. Is a shame the drugs that work so well to kill the cancer, are so hard on the healthy part of our bodies as well.. As to the bleeding I have had a lot of blood in my urin, but I think that may be caused by the stint in my urator. It is not a big concern to the doctors.
