Hi Miranda and Ken and CarolIt would be nice if we could do a West Coast thing...I can't get to NCand its really disappointing but CA is a definitely doable. Maybe wecan all get together sometime.Also talked to a Research doctor at Nat Jewish today and was amazed athow gracious she was (I had "signed up" for a genetic study on FamilialIPF only yesterday) I am definitely going to get an eval there. Sher, I am not close to the Oregon border. I am in northern Idaho in the panhandle. I am near the Washington border. Sunny also lives near me. I haven't talked to her since I got home a few hours ago but I don't think that she is doing well. I would love to meet everyone but I doubt that I could get to California. Sher,I would still like to attend a get together. I wish that my house would sell so I could have some extra money.Are you renting a hotel room when you go to UWMC? And for how long. I am going to make an appointment as soon as I can and I would like to have some idea how much it is going to cost me. BJ...so far, we haven't made reservations anyplace...Yes, we will stay a night in a Motel, mainly because we want to and just enjoy some time from home.

I'm going to call Liane and inquire about Motels they might recommend. I'm sure they have a list.

BJ... talk to your doc. He will be the one to make the referral to MC.

Then you will gather records...most of what doc has already:scans, x-rays, labs, whatever.

You CAN call first and then they will still have you have your doc make a referral.

Be SURE your insurance will cover!

Talk to your doc to get started, hopefully he will be helpful.

just to let you know i been thinking about sacramento for a west coast get-together in april. i will check with the sac. chamber of com.(and my nephew who lives in sac.) for hotels and maybe a river boat dinner cruise. any other suggestions, ideas, would be helpful.
