DS2 was circumcised but he did not have any problems except for a blood clot, so I don't really know what to suggest for that. However for the chicken pox - My DS1 caught it when we were in France and we used a powder, called " nisapulvol " made by a company called Mayoly Spindler. It was wonderful as you could just shake it on like salt and pepper which turned into a big game. The instructions are in English and French which makes me think it maybe available in England - perhaps to order - but I have never checked.
