Guest guest
11 outside the green - " suspicious " 3 in red (yes, Cu is red) - " suspicious " , Strontium would be red at .14 Two suspicious make a counting rule. So, high prob of mercury tox. (Ni is often the first thing to go high when minerals are becoming disordered, so your GSDL test was probably showing this.) Cu red high => Do the copper protocol. Zinc, Manganese, liver support, avoid supps with Cu & avoid high Cu foods (eg nuts). Check hair in about 4 months. Bismuth <<maybe>> check for make-up or meds for digestive issues. Ca/P very low => fast oxidizer. You may show less tox than is present. You may do well with digestive enzymes, high vitamin D and a high fat diet. Mg getting near red low ==> give Mg & Taurine. Co red low <<maybe>> B12 will help. Na/Mg = 17 = too much adrenaline. Avoid tyrosine and phenylalanine (eg. dairy and red meat, fish & some fowl ok) Ca & Mg vs Na & K adrenal sign, very strong ==> Cortesol way low, give adrenal support. (ACE/isocort/HC; small high frequency high protein meals) Na/K fine K/Ca = .48 high <<maybe>> test thyroid. That's what I get out of the test! Symptoms are certainly consistent with mercury tox. So, where are you with the chelation process now? Difficulties? Positive effects? What's happening? Dave. ------------- Posted by: " cfiatzph " cfiatzph@... cfiatzph Sun Jun 1, 2008 7:42 am (PDT) Mine is up hair test 172 (it is a little old) http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/hairtest.html Any comments? 1) What are your current symptoms and health history? Anxiety, depression, ADD as a child. Constant anxiety inability to handle stress. No history of panic attacks until I got extremely sick with panic attacks and anxiety after intentionally doing a crash diet. High blood pressure with anxiety. No other major health problems. Gilberts syndrome a benign liver disorder that effects glutathione conjugation. (reduces) causes an increase in blood billirubin levels. 2) Dental history (wisdom teeth removed? First root canal placed? Braces? First amalgam etc...) Two small amalgams possibly one amalgam removed without precaution at the age of 12. All four wisdom teeth removed. Two small amalgams removed with IAOMT dentist. 3) What dental work do you currently have in place? What part of the dental cleanup have you completed? This hair test is a year post amalgam removal. 7 rounds of DMSA 1 round of ALA. 4) What dentistry did your mother have at any time before or during pregnancy? 7-8 amalgams? No work done during pregnancy. 5) What vaccinations have you had and when (including flu and especially travel shots)? Typical vaccines for my age. A few more because of living in 3rd world countries. No flu shots. 6) Supplements and medications (including dosages) taken at time of hair test, or for the 3-6 months before the sample was taken. 200 mg of zinc daily. Molybdenum, (1000-3000 mcg), b complex. 750 mg magnesium. 7) Other information you feel may be relevant? My first hair test (not DDI) did not show high copper (I wasn't on any anti copper program) The test had EXTREMELY high nickel (8x the limit) This was a great smokies test and only test 10 or elements (toxic and non toxic) 8) What is your location - city & country (so that we can learn where certain toxins are more prevalent). Tampa, FL USA. Thanks
Guest guest
Chelation has relatively positive effects particularly on a round probably because ALA raises gluthione conjugation (low with gilberts) I do about 200 mg a dose and have had no side effects for the last 5 or so rounds. Just feel worse off of it. DMSA makes me feel worse. I have done in total maybe 10-15 rounds. I feel alot better then I was I think my chief complaint is adrenal related/copper. Cortef doesn't really do much for me. Haven't noticed a difference. at 5 mg 4x a day. So I went off. The only thing that has been REALLY positively without a doubt noticeable is B12 shots and 4 teaspoons of sea salt per gallon of water. That helps very much with dizziness and other symptoms of adrenal problems.
