Hi,

How did you know you were " barely producing any stomach acid and absorbing

any protein/fat? "

I'm not sure about the answers to these questions, but I know you can try

Glutagenics by Metagenics (contains DG-Licorice, Aloe and Glutamine).

This helps repair the gut lining.

That might be of some help. But I had some " official " test to see

if I had celiacs and I tested negative. However, on another test I

showed " mild " sensitivity. I gave it up anyway - I'm seeing

improvements.

My gut symptoms have improved with chelation.. Before

starting it though I found the following a life saver and

continue to need them.. .

Betaine HCl ,

Milk THistle seed

enzymes for protein , fat digestion == the one I found

best by NOW has ox bile { bile salts { in it

A good tablespoon of lecithin granules or 1 big teaspoon of

liquid lecithin with every meal. This keeps the food moving

through by helping the gallbladder and stopped for me the

pain and terrible discomfort in my gut.
