Guest guest
- It looks like your son has an " all high " pattern, with mercury coming out very, very low and the accumulation of at least aluminum and tin. All of this is strongly indicative of mercury intoxication. In addition, copper is red high, indicating copper toxicity. Since Ca/P is on the low end, Andy suggests that this indicates a " fast oxidizer " , who might do well with a high fat diet and digestive enzymes. (He also suggests that this would mean that your son might show less toxicity than is present, and while this is true of mercury, it does not appear to conform with the all high pattern. So, there may be some conflict here that I don't understand.) Na/K is showing low, which may indicate that his thyroid hormones are excessive (not low). (Have you done any thyroid testing? I haven't seen this in a hair test before, so I don't know what steps on takes under these conditions. Perhaps you could use Onibasu to find out what discussion has appeared on the A-M list.) So, the first thing to attend to, would be the copper toxicity. Luckily, this is not so difficult. There is a lot of info on this and the A-M list on how to do this, but basically you want to avoid high copper foods (like nuts, particularly) and give zinc and molybdenum, along with liver support. Then, assuming that you are certain about there being no amalgam in his mouth, you can do a trial of chelation. Given the hair test, I would expect that you should see a response. You will need to look into the supplement regimen that would go along with the chelation protocol Dave -------------------- Posted by: " campbell " daff0dil77@... <mailto:daff0dil77@...?Subject=%20Re%3AMy%20son%27s%20hair%20test> daff0dil7721 <http://profiles.yahoo.com/daff0dil7721> Fri Apr 25, 2008 4:12 pm (PDT) Hello, Will you please take a look at my son's hair test: 163 http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/hairtest.html <http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/hairtest.html> 1) What are your current symptoms and health history? He started with a diagnosis of moderate autism. After some biomed and educational interventions (and about 8 months time) he moved to a PDD and now is classified as developmentally delayed through the school district (although I think he still has signs of high functioning autism) More specifically his weak areas are: language (has a big vocab. doesn't have 2 way conversations) social (still parallel plays) some visual stims lines things up 2) Dental history (wisdom teeth removed? First root canal placed? Braces? First amalgam etc...) None 3) What dental work do you currently have in place? What part of the dental cleanup have you completed? None 4) What dentistry did your mother have at any time before or during pregnancy? 10 amalgams no work during pregnancy 5) What vaccinations have you had and when (including flu and especially travel shots)? All the required ones up to the MMR then we stopped. No flu shots, no shots during pregnancy
