Guest guest
I went to a mall here in the Los Angeles area and they even had flu shots available on the spot. The grocery store and Savon drug store have flu shots available. My doctor told me there is no shortage (and as I said earliler, I had my shot 3 weeks ago)> In a message dated 10/30/2005 2:23:19 PM Pacific Standard Time, hilsshop@... writes: It just really irritates me that all year they have said there would be more then enough vaccine for this year. Guest guest
It may have made it to some parts of the country but there is a shortage here in NY and sounds like is having problems also. Guest guest
>>>more then half of the Drs in New York State have received none or less then a quarter of the flu vaccine they ordered months ago. Reading the posts on this list it seems only me and were having a problem. Seems here they don't have a answer of why they did not get it. >>>> First, let me say I sure hope your leg gets better real quick!!! Prayers for you~~~~ I did not get my flu shot at my cancer appt. He is barely going to have enough for his active chemo patients. the next day was my appt with primary doc for flu shot. I called first and sure enough, no flu vaccine. Now they are being told the 14th of November for delivery. My 83 year old mother cannot find one, my 62 year old brother who has had heart bypass cannot find one, nor I. Three weeks ago they had a " play time " out at the fairgrounds wanting people to pretend it was a bird flu epidemic and come at certain times to get a " pretend bird flu " shot which was really flu vaccine. Now, I ask you, do you think the old and ill were able to go to that?????????? No. Something needs to be done about who has first shipments of these vaccines. nancy j ---------- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. I would think the older and sick people should have had first on the flu shots. My mom and brother live in a suburb of Chicago and have told me there is no shortage there. They both have gotten thiers. Hope you and your family can get your shots soon. Guest guest
, So sorry that you are having such a difficult time getting the flu shot. Just cannot understand why your area is having this problem. Ingrid > > I am so sick and tired of trying to get a flu shot. > > Now the doctors here are being put off until November 22 for vaccine.
