Hi. Have to smile and comment on my go round with Dr. R re: takingPrednisone. On my own I went from 10 ml to 5 mll, and my IPF showed it!I cried and said I hate Pred. He said, well, okay - you want to live ordie? He was quite strict with me - so I went back up to 10ml and wasdoing better. Seems I have digressed in my health lately. He took meoff oxygen, now I need it more than before. It is my suggetion that you take the Prednisone - at least give it achance.Joy>>> From:> Sher Bauman bofus (AT) wbcable (DOT) net>> Subject:> Sher' thinking too much?> To:> Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. com> Date: Tuesday, June 16,> 2009, 9:50

Peggy E... I think it was you who said 'something' about a painful process having to do with GERD... I'm not sure but I'm not anxious to have ANY test w/Raghu that is that painful.

Others have written about this too and now I can't remember who.

Pink... I think I could do more of 'anything' on a low dose of prednisone but after awhile it will accumulate in the body and I'll have to deal with the side effects.

It's hell if we do and hell if we don't.
