Don't forget.... Trans Fats block the absorbtion of Good fats..... I have indeed

learned this the hard way and that is why I do know how aweful transfats are for

our kids. They just prevent the body from getting the good fats into their

system. In addition, our children have a really tough time getting rid of the

transfats and it takes a long time (as much as a year) to excrete them from the

body.

Oil is all fat, so this may be why. BUT, humans (especially kids) need

fat in their diet at the brain is made of it...)

Before taking her off of fish oils, I would seriously cut sugars and

unnecessary fats from her diet.

You say she has always been a little chubby... I would look into what

you are feeding her to see what caused it in the first place.

If you are talking to me my son does not have a heavy gut. He had

belly problems, we believe from an allergy. The fish oil had nothing

to do with that and he had no weight issues on it.
