Guest guest
Hello, Sue, Akiko, and other mothers of newly 13 year old girlies ... Any ideas for birthday pressies, apart from the requested media items?! (and clothes) (Already has received nail care kit ;-) Aunt Izzy style) many thanks scouring the house in readiness for invasion by six 12 yo's (she's the oldest in her gang) for a " stay over " tonight, in which " sleep " will be avoided for as long as possible aaaarrrrrgggghhhh (PS have invested in wax ear plugs) love Caro (looking a bit pale, but proud of her lovely 13 yo)

(and clothes) Anything from Claire's Accessories, Boots etc in the line of nail varnish, make-up, wash-in wash-out hair colours, stick-on tattoos, Impulse body sprays ..... the list is endless Caro! Certainly where my kids are concerned, definitely no books or anything vaguely educational! Getting ears pierced is quite a nice " big " present if your daughter is interested and/or you are agreeable to it. My 15y-o has now reached the point where all she wants is cash (or a belly button piercing). Good luck with the sleepover as well. We've had 2 big ones recently, one in a tent in the garden which was great because all the mess was outside and the more recent when there were 5 14 y-os and 1 15 y-o (mine) in our living room - they watched videos all night, having devoured 2 large pizzas from Pizza Hut. No alcohol as far as I could see or smell but there were a large number of fag ends in her bin afterwards! Hopefully, yours won't be at that stage yet!! Have fun!
