I can't imagine catering for 15 people - I think because I was brought up as an only child and dad died when I was 14 I am used to catering for 2! I struggle on the days that I have 5 children! My best friend comes from a large family and she can't cope with small numbers - she was not fazed by her birthday lunch which set off as me + 3 plus her + 2 total of 7. It actually ended up as me+3 her+2, her DH, another friend + 1 and we all just sat down to eat and my DH popped in for his lunch totally 11. Lunch was a strange mixture but great fun! I struggle on the days that I have 5 children! The 15 is basic; I imagine most meals will be 20 or over! I know what you mean about small catering, now during " term " time we are just DH and me, I always over-shop! I actually am looking forward to the soup kitchen aspect of this trip for a change! Just cook loads of good food and shovel it out on trays! Lovely! Ruthie

I just wish that I could cope so well. Trisha SAHM to 3 boys
