Guest guest
It sounds like you are incredibly fortunate that you had the colonsocopy done and that the cancerous polyp could be removed so easily. You do have some gastroentestinal problems, unrelated to cancer, that need to be addressed. Those problems you mentioned should be treated by the gastroenterologist. If you don't have a lot of confidence in this particular gastroenterologist, find one that you can communicate with and insist on appropiate treatment. There is no reason why you should have to live with those issues. Don't be so scared, the big threat, cancer, was removed; regular screening will preclude you from having a serious problem. > > Hello. I am new to this. Doesn't that sound a little long? What if it > comes back before that? Should I insist that she do something more, > or is this pretty routine? Everyone is acting like it is not big > deal. Also I have been in excruciating pain for a year. Shouldn't > they prescribe me something to help my pain? Are any of you on > something for the pain? Aside from that when I got the upper GI done > they told me that I have a hiatal hernia and stomach ulcers and they > put me on Nexium. Does anyone know anything about Nexium?
