Guest guest
Debbie I am so sorry. I wish I lived closer, so we could go out for coffee. I send the older oys to the basement to watch TV, and put in a movie for Zach and try to read, or I take them in the back to the swingset, and read while they play. They interupt alot, but it's the best I get. Anyway you can find a sitter for a few hours and slip into a room to paint or read, or go out shopping? Hugs to you, Libby > Well I just got a call from the local library ... Guest guest
I abuse little electronic people that I have created in the Sims. Hee hee. I also work on my book stuff. I look forward these days to the days that I have events and get to go sell books. I get away from the kids, I make some money and usually I get free books (huge motivater for me. LOL!) Guest guest
Debbie, what you do can be almost anything if it is something that you enjoy. It can be at home, at a friends, or out in the community. Right now for me, it is limited to an hour or two of running away by myself with at home with the kids. I might go see a movie (a grownup one at the movie theatre!), I might go have coffee and desert with a friend, I might go sit in the church, I might go read in the library (where there are no children to climb on me). In the past I have been able to sew, dabble in online resale (I resale kids stuff on the side but you do need the time), work on landscaping my yard (I love doing this, but again, you need time), choosing wallpaper themes and paint for a room and getting it done, and reading really thick novels just for fun. I've crocheted blankets, worked on embroidery panels, created recipies, made patterns for stained glass windows, or made a game out of Friday yardsaling. I've read books by keeping them in the car and reading them while waiting to pick up kids and during apointments. I don't have any regular time that I can depend on for solitude but I will quickly take advantage if the opportunity presents itself, lol. I do ask to take the kids for a few hours some evenings or half a saturday, and every once in a blue moon I might get away for a whole day with a girlfriend to go to Eugene. Mostly I don't plan too many things as it is too difficult and unpredicatable around here. It may be that way for you too. Maybe there are some things that you can do that you enjoy during stollen moments. Even catching a movie in the theatre can be a real treat. ((hugs)) Hang in there. Guest guest
> OK..I'll ask...what's a " siggy " ? > > Penny > A siggy is a signature graphic that you make, it could be framed, or have a nice background with your signature in the foreground. A lot of msn groups use them, and i'm totally addicted to making them...LOL Ali mum to Lyndey,7,(NT) and Andy,5,(ASD) ps..I'll try and upload some to my folder for you to see
