I just got the DDI hair test results back for myself and my husband. <snip> While I'm waiting, we both have high Uranium. That scares me. How do we get that, and how do we get it out? ------------Where do you live? Some parts of the country, mostly the southwest, are much higher in uranium, so it ends up in the water and food in those areas. Andy says low dietary iron levels tend to cause elevated uranium levels, so increasing dietary iron lowers hair and body levels of uranium. Note that hair iron levels do NOT reflect body stores or dietary intake. This, and everything on the hair test, is discussed in his Hair Test Interpretation book, so you might want to get it, and is available at his website. www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html (hope I got that right!)
