Welcome Alice,

It's great you found us. This is an awesome group of wonderful people.

The best part for me is that the people here " get it " . If you have questions or

problems, most likely, there's someone here that can help.

started coming down with pneumonia and/or bronchitis that antibiotics never

really helped, but would clear up on it's own. Chest x-rays never showed much

and so my (ex) doctor was never really concerned.   Then in April 2008 I came

down with a cold that was going around, but my cough never went away.  After two

trips to urgent care and both times being told *it's just a cold* I gave up on

seeing doctors about it and just let it take it's course.

pulmonologist was able to diagnose me with chronic autoimmune hypersensitivity

pneumonitis (we are still trying to find the cause..it's not mold or

animal/bird sensitivities that the doctors/tests could detect) that has cause

pulmonary fibrosis.

Hi Joyce!

Thank you for the warm welcome! My doctor ruled birds out because of my history of never owning/working with birds of any type nor have I had expossure to wild birds of any type (no nesting or rousting areas in or around our house or property).
