Sunshine - I did that for quite a while and it worked well. It

definitely improved side effects when I went from 25 to 30mg (that was a

big jump for me). Problem was, since I pretty much have my (regular)

chelation times programmed into my head now, and since I don't have

regular sleeping hours, this means that the chelation time keeps

changing through the day. So, it was a bear for me to keep track of.

Why it's happening that you're getting more side effects now, I don't

know. Maybe your metabolism is changing - somehow things are speeding

up? That's a wild guess.

Oh, and on the effect of long rounds - I found that as time went on in

my chelation process, the length of time I could chelate before

confronting unbearable side-effects, increased.

I just finish my 15th round of 6mg DMSA every 3 hours, 3 days on 4

days off. I am 5.5 months amalgam free. Round was fairly smooth, no

problems this time. When I woke up in the mornings I was feeling

great, as the day went on I had very minor rollercoaster symptoms

coming up to the 3 hour dosing mark (althought not every 3 hours).

For the last 3 doses I reduced the times down to 2.5 hours and had no

more rollercoaster effects.

Next round I will dose at 2.5 hours in the day and 3 hours at night.

Q:Is that ok?

In my previous round 14, I tried to extend the round to 4 days and

was rewarded with a huge mercury attack with brain fog and muscle

weakness galore. I recovered within a couple of days, but was fairly

nasty at the time.

I do not feel the urge to increase the dose yet….6mg suits me just

fine. I guess I will know when I can increase the dose…and I know

that now is not the right time. ALA will not be tried until I can

increase the DMSA dose.

Q: This decrease in the timings between doses….this is new and only

happened on the last 2 rounds….does that mean I'm in the dumping

phase? Or is this just the joys of chelation….good rounds and bad

rounds?

Oh yes indeed, i didn't think of that....that is a 25pct increase in my

daily dose. Thanks for pointing that out....i will have a think. I may

dose more frequently and split the 25mg cap into 5mg....i think that is

an excellent point, cheers.
