If the tests can be handled independently can one buy any of the meds etc on one's own? This is for hubby and possibly myself too. I strongly suspect hypothyroidism based on hubby's symptoms - cold feet, though slightly overweight (and easy to gain) still feels colder than my skinny self, dry skin, hair loss over a couple of years, low average temps.
