She's getting 3mg DMSA every 4 hours. That's pretty low. I don't know if I can split the caps up any more without losing accuracy. I'm already splitting it into eighths. Can I decrease while already on round? I also posted another question regarding being on round while getting dental fillings. The title of the post is " Time Sensitive, Please Advise " . I wonder if you might address that one too? I basically forgot that she has a dentist appt tmr. And we are on round. TO quit this round, or not, is the main question. Thanks. If she does really good while on round, then maybe try to up things off round to help her, like you mentioned lithium, ACE, and I would also give her extra Vit C, and see if that helps. Otherwise, you may have to lower the dose, like said. You don't want her too uncomfortable (and you either!). There is a past post by Ed, I believe, that explains how he uses the Cap-M-Quick filler machine, and mixes his chelator with Vit C and fills capsules that way, with whatever dose he wants. And, there is a Dr. Nielson, I believe, that compounds DMSA and ALA in small amounts, like 1mg, 4mg, and 8mg capsules. So you could search archives for both of these ideas.-----------Jackie I also posted another question regarding being on round while getting dental fillings. Thanks. --------I mentioned in my other post to ask on Autism-Mercury, but you could also ask on the new dental forum, Dental-Chelation, run by Dean, and see what he has to say.----------Jackie

Can I decrease while already on round? It's up to you. If you prefer not to reduce the dose, then certainly try increasing the ACE and/or lithium. If you decide at some point to use smaller doses, you can try what Andy suggests here so you aren't splitting such tiny amounts: http://onibasu.com/archives/am/191932.html --
Guest guest
FYI you can purchase 25 mg caps that might be easier to divide down if you need to in the future. > > I would try a lower chelator dose first.
