Guest guest
Here is my take on the test: 2 red 9 outside of green zone No counting rules met. Mercury very high. High probability of mercury intoxication. Iodine red high. Are there any exposures? Ca/Mg borderline low normal ==> Some problems with blood sugar regulation. Consider low glycemic index diet Consider some chromium picollinate, and/or vanadium, billberry extract Ca/P low ==> fast metabolizer. You may show less tox than is present. Consider a High fat diet, lots of vitamin D and digestive enzymes. Na/K fine K/Ca = .375, a bit high. Consider testing thyroid. Na/Mg = 3.3, fine. No adrenal sign. Ok, test thyroid, try a high fat/low glycemic index diet, add a bit of chromium or vanadium, some digestive enzymes and vitamin D. Also, get started on teh basic supplements (below). Other than that, chelate using ALA, but only after waiting three months from the last exposure. Dave. B50 or B100 once or twice /d Buffered C, 4g/d Mg, 100mg 4x/d and increase to 200 in a few weeks Avoid the oxide form, it's not absorbable. Magnesium citrate, malate, aspartate, or amino acid chelate are best. Mg Supps is done by taking 100-200mg (adult) with each meal and possibly at bedtime. The amount used is adjusted to the max level that is not laxative. Ca should also be given so the ratio of Ca to Mg intake from all sources (food & pills) is somewhere between 1:2 and 2:1. Vit E, 1600IU/d CoQ10, 75-200mg/d Zinc, 20mg + 1mg/lb Flax Oil, 10+g/d (1-2 tbsp) or CLO (1/2 - 1 tbsp) Borage oil, 1+g/d (1-2 tsp) Milk thistle, 1-2 cap/meal Folic acid, 400-800mcg/d Make sure any selenium is in some form like selenomethionine or selenium yeast. AIp. 162: 50-300mcg a day total. Try Lecithin, Choline & B12 to see how you respond. ------------------ Posted by: " jigglerpuff " jigglerpuff@... jigglerpuff Fri Jun 20, 2008 6:28 pm (PDT) Hmm, i tried posting the link to the actual pic of the results, i dont think it worked... here it is again http://members.aol.com/blue000123/hairtest.jpg

Are there any exposures? >Im not sure..... what is iodine and what are the most common things to cause exposure? It's probably not relevant, since it looks like you have mercury and this could be initial signs of mineral disorder. Still, I thought I should ask. I don't know many sources other than seaweed or supplements/iodine tincture, though there may be others. If you test thyroid and find there are problems though, you might want to consider looking into this more carefully, since iodine is related to thyroid function. You can start with HTI, pp.124-125. [...] >>Ca/P low ==> fast metabolizer. >>You may show less tox than is present. >>Consider a High fat diet, >>lots of vitamin D and digestive enzymes. >Vitamin D....... hmmm ok, although i heard it is not safe to take too much? Ya. Take 2000IU/d. Canadian recommendations are now 1000IU/d and most alternative doctors are saying 5000IU/d. 2000IU is Andy's recommendation. If you are at the equator and get a lot of sun, you don't have to worry about it too much, but anything over 45 deg north latitude, you need it all year round. I'm at San Fran, Calif - here we need it all but about 4 months of the year, and then only if you spend time out around noon. [...] Dave.
