Guest guest
Sunshine - there are various kinds of food sensitivities. If the issue is sulfur, then that is not an immunological reaction (nor what is usually termed a " pharmaceutical " reaction), instead it is more chemical in character. It's about the sulfur moving the mercury, and in this sense all sulfur foods will be the same - some may have more sulfur than others, but they will all produce the same response, stronger or less so depending on how much sulfur is in there. So, assuming that you do not have some other form of reactivity to some specific sulfur foods (a lot of people react to eggs, for example, but those reactions are specific to eggs, not a sulfur reaction, same can be said for milk, but a person with a sulfur problem will react to both and other sulfur foods besides) then it doesn't make any difference which sulfur food you try to put back in. You can use anything. Also, remember that the issue is that those of us with a sulfur problem have kidneys that tend to accumulate sulfur. So, when you start eating sulfur foods, there will be a slow accumulation of sulfur in the bloodstream. Depending how much you eat, it may take a week or two or three before symptoms come on. Just to share my experience, 2 1/2 years into chelation I can eat a little bit of sulfur. If I keep it up too much, then in a little while I start having symptoms and have to back off. Having been at it for a while, I've learned to identify the problem, but it can take a while to learn to do that. Dave. ---------------------- Posted by: " sunshinep1969 " danielproudfoot2001@... Mon Apr 28, 2008 5:32 am (PDT) Re-introducing sulphur foods? How do I do that? I have been off sulphur foods for 7-8 months now. I am feeling better and feel the need to try them. Do I….. 1) Eat lots of different types of sulphur foods at one meal and see how I feel? 2) Eat lots of one type of sulphur food and see how I feel? Then repeat with different sulphur foods on another day when I know how I react to the one I tried? Am I likely to react more to one thing than another? For example, react more to eggs, than onions? Guest guest
--------Ok thanks, for everyone's words…I will go slow with any food re-introductions I make, and will try single foods, one at a time, I will do it so I can clearly see what happens.
