I assume you are talking ink tattoo's on your skin? If so, when I

first started chelating my tattoo noticably when on round. First 5

rounds was itchy. Now it occasionally itches on round. After 20

rounds of chelation I think my tattoo is slightly more faded but that

could easily be my imagination.

I don't know for sure, but my itching tattoo whilst on rounds

confirms, in my mind at least, that the ink was contaminated. I have

a red and black ink tattoo.

Considering the problems I had, a minor itchy tattoo was the least of

my worries. IMHO it is not something you should be concerned with.

I remember reading that the red ink likely contains mercury, and that

the tattoo needs to be removed before chelation. I just searched and

I can't find any posts to support my claim.

My understanding is that the red ones may contain mercury. I'm not sure if it's

in all of the red ones, but if it was " cinnabar " , then it is mercuric sulfide.

See page 75 of HTI.

So if your tattoo isn't red, then there's nothing to worry about. Otherwise, I

don't recall if Andy has commented on this or not, as far as chelation goes, and

I don't remember other members saying it was a problem or not. You could search

archives for posts on this.---------Jackie
