The docotrs never even mentioned it to me. The only reason I knew was because I had a copy of both reports. Now I am wondering if I should maybe pursue this. Please let me know what you find out. I think it probably is nothing since nothing was said to me. Just wondering if I should ask the Onc. Thanks, Ingrid Yes, Ingrid...absolutely!!! I think you should not be worried, but ask your Onc. They've been known to miss things before!! Better safe than sorry!! Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle Caregiver to Glenn
Guest guest
The ultrascan can show blood flow and some other parameters better than CT. Where you can not get a biopsy, CTs and Ultrascans are sometimes used together to give a better " guess " if something is benign or not
Guest guest
Ingrid, You bet I will let you know. You may also want to contact your gynecologist to see what he/she thinks. It seems odd to me that they would need to do a ultrascan after a catscan, I thought that the catscan was the newest, best technology? 's gynecologist did pick up the cyst right after had her colonoscopy and they found the cancer. But they didn't seem overly concerned about it at that time. I'll let everyone know what the results are. Probably won't know for a couple of weeks. Guest guest
Ingrid, I thank God for people like you and everyone else in here every day. Your knowledge on a variety of subjects helps me better understand what is going on with my wife each and every day. I will never totally understand it but I try to stay informed so that I know what to expect. Of course, there are always those " unexpected " things that kind of bite you but we deal with it.
