Donnelle I personally believe you must respect Glenns wishes. You can of course continue to ask him if he wants vistors/family as he might decide he wants to say goodbye. I dont know how things work at the end but with pain relief maybe comes a change in his mind. Let him make that decision. That way he will open up again and wont have to be on the defensive. If not and whatever happened between him and his family remains unresolved it does not matter. After all the only ones who will feel better are those still living. Let him go his own way and give him everything he wants. Have his favourite food and drinks to hand and if he only has a little and wastes it, it matters no one bit. Surround him with music, photos, nice smells indeed anything that you know he gets pleasure from and most of all do your best to be there yourself. Can you ask for compasionate leave for instance.
