Guest guest
It is an inhaled medication and doctors who are experts in PH have started using it more widely now. They generally start with Tracleer and Revatio. Before Ventavis their only choices beyond them were Flolan and Remodulin which both are administered IV. It is a vasolidator (blood vessel dilator) just as they are but without the difficulty of administration. Typically it may be inhaled every three hours. Another advantage is that because it's inhaled it goes straight to the lungs. > > Does anyone have knowledge of or have used Ventavis > > P PM (Polymositis) 12/98, UIP 8/00, o2 24/7 10 LPM 8/04, PH 3/06, ILL yo 61 > REMEMBER : All of you on Prednisone > 'stressed' spelled backwards is 'desserts' >
