Marcia - I assume you are able to read pdf files, right? If not, go to

Adobe.Com and download the free pdf reader. (Or better, foxitsoftware.com and

get the free reader there.)

If the file is corrupted, contact them and have them resend.

You will get much more feedback if you can get the pdf file that they sent you,

and post it on Dean's site. Here are directions:

I was not able to open my hair test results in the email they sent me, so I

don't have an 'online' or email version of it. I don't have a scanner either.

You should not be calling doctor's data, if that is what you are trying. If

you got it from DirectLabs.Com, you should be calling them - they do answer the

phone. If you got it form a doctor, you should be contacting him/her.

There should be no problem seeing a pdf on an old computer.

Worst comes to worst, go to a copy shop and have them scan it for you.

Probably cost you 3 bucks.

Hi Dave,

I can read pdf files. My computer and programs are really old now and I just

could not open the files they sent of my results. I called the labs THREE times

over a week and never got one phone call returned to try and get this info. The

original email they sent with the link for it accidentally got deleted but it

said the results would only be there until June 17, and I could not get them to

call me back. So i guess I'm screwed. I can't get that pdf file. I would not

have bothered to take this test if I'd realized I wouldn't be able to get that.

They just sent me results in the mail after the requests for that. It took me a

week just to get the time/energy to type up what I sent. I'm not going to have

the time/strength to work on this right now if its going to get complicated. My

brain does NOT function.

The solution to that problem is to call the sales dept and to not let them send

you to an answering machine.

And/or use a computer at a library/friend's that might work better.

By the way, the labs do not send you the results, they sent me a link to some

other website to try and access the files from some other program my computer

does not support, so I tried and tried and could not do it. If they'd just sent

me a file with the results, I'd have been fine. I called 3 times and asked them

to just please send it to my computer, but they would not call back and they

did not do it. They just mailed the hard copies as requested. I used

Directlabs, kept getting answering machines and they did not return the

messages. When I ordered the test and they took my money, they did talk to me.
