Guest guest
> It's not clear to me what this means. Do you take 5 mg Cortef plus > 50 mg ACE every 3 h for a total of 4 doses? I'm up to 5mg Cortef/50mg ACE 3 times a day: approximate times of 8AM, 11:30 and 3:30. So, each day that's a total of 15mg Cortef and 150mg ACE. This amount seems to be helping now that I'm rebalanced a bit. I stopped chelation (although I was only doing 12.5mgDMSA and 3mgALA) and am focusing on rest and eliminating stress. Then I will start again. I feel better today than I have in weeks and it's the first day I've eliminated Chromium Picolinate. It's funny... I tried this supplement years ago and had a terrible problem with dizziness back then. When I added 200mcg with meals to my regimen this time, a few weeks ago, it SEEMED okay, at least at first. But it's pretty clear to me now that the Chromium has been the cause of those melodramatic crashes I've been having. I still get more tired mid-day but not this end-of-the-world can't- move-a-finger kind of stuff. > Why not just rest from chelation for a bit until your body isn't so > stressed. Yes. Exactly, Thanks. And thanks for all your support through this. I'm only in my third or fourth month (and I was out for a couple months, stopped everything in between to Hawaii) and I appreciate all your help in getting my regimen set up in these early days. I hope I'll have it a bit more together as I work through some of the stuff, get more tests back. And of course will help eventually but it will be awhile until I can get enough hair for a test so I'm waiting until then to see her for the whole big picture. So far, the information I'm getting from you and Jackie, TK and others is helping me to mend my adrenals a bit and get on a simple routine that will work in the meantime. I'm also expecting results from an Diagnostechs ASI stress test I sent in last week. I have another very good doctor who can look at that while I wait to see .. ~robin
