Guest guest
This is wonderful! Jacquie H I just have to share a moomy brag 29 months, nonverbal is no longer NONVERBAL woohoooo He is up to 4 words that he using often and correctly and often without prompting :-). All in the last 3 weeks!!! And then today he nodded his head and said yes (2 different times with visual prompting) and said HAT when I said " lets wear a hat'!! I almost cried. I sure hope this is a sign of things to come and that he doesn't lose them (did that before he was 18 months). happy dance (but not much because I am water logged from drinking all this darn water trying to loss weight) Thanks for listening!! Question~When someone says a person is non-verbal, is it like who had his own " language " jargon or someone who doesn't make any words or sounds or can it be used for children who speak but not communicate? Just wondering so I will know going forward Warm Regards & ASD 11/25/00 in Maine --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
