Guest guest
We have been in touch with Hospice and they are doing Phil's blood work now so he avoids a trip out. He is a bit jaundiced and tired but otherwise doing fairly well and can still be out and about for a while. His appetite is good and he is downing a couple of quarts of Gatorade. His skin is very dry the result of being overhydrated in the hospital and then on diuretic to resolve it last week. Donelle told me of a wonderful lotion Hospice sent for Glenn and I think I'll try and get some for Phil too. For now I have Aveeno baby lotion and it is helping ok. It has been so busy here!! Tomorrow family starts coming so I will probably not be on much. I'll try to let a couple of you know what is up daily. To the newbies welcome and don't let the bad news discourage you. There is so much happening in cancer research that people can survive many years with this beast and yes even some stage 4's lick it!!!! Don't ever give up folks and really cling to your families and your faith in the last analysis they are all that matters and all that lasts. Much love to you all Narice In a message dated 11/18/2005 5:43:40 PM Eastern Standard Time, milyandtheworld@... writes: Narice dear, How are you doing? How is Phil doing?
