Guest guest
Ken, I once saw the space shuttle come over Vicksburg on its way to a landing in Florida. Several of us ham radio operators got up early and watched it come across the southern sky. In the dark, you could see a long ionized stream glowing from white to orange as it cooled. And I used to keep up with the orbits of visible satellites. I had a tracking program from www.amsat.org. One night we saw the space shuttle just trailing the MIR space station. I wasn't one of them, but 6 hams from Vicksburg talked to the MIR astraunauts. I hope you get to see a good visible pass tonight. Guest guest
There are many visible satellite passes if we only took the time to look up.
