Molybdenum is most important for this. ---------Just wanted to comment on molybdenum. I just had a consult with and asked her about my molybdenum, because it is now red high on my hair test, and I have been taking high doses of it, 1000mcg a day for probably two years now, so was concerned maybe I have taken too much. She told me to keep taking it, because she said that " everyone " is molybdenum deficient, and that the ranges for the DDI hair test for molybdenum is based on this, so the ranges are actually too low. So I thought that was very interesting.---------Jackie

So I'm assuming you were supplementing it during this whole time? Do you take 1000mcg a day? I wonder why it fluctuates? She really assured me it was nothing to worry about, so hearing what happened to you is very interesting.----------Jackie
Guest guest
recommended I take 3000 mcg of molybdenum long-term. It sounded like a lot, so I tried to research toxicity and concluded that the doses would have to be several times higher before toxicity might ever be an issue. Actually, I increased to 2000 mcg for a short period of time (weeks, not months), but that was after the first test. I was thinking the high level might mean I needed more (just the lunatic ravings of a broken mind), and I was having weird symptoms at the time so I tried it to see if it helped. Didn't seem to. -- --
Guest guest
Thanks Kris. Yes, it does sound like alot, but I know Andy and wouldn't recommend these dosages, if they weren't safe. And honestly, I have never heard anyone say they were taking too much, or have had bad effects from it (that I can remember at the moment). I just remember people commenting that they needed it, and noticed when they had ran out. And I believe it was from one of 's questionaires, that she determined I was deficient. And I am/was also low in sulfate, and Andy says to take it for that, so I'm sure I need it. You just start to wonder sometimes, when you take stuff for a long time. So do you take it all at once, or spread out through the day? Do you notice a difference in taking it? What symptoms does it help? I'm actually wondering if I might benefit from taking a higher dose like you, because I do seem to need high doses of some things.---------Jackie In frequent-dose-chelation kristinhomme wrote: recommended I take 3000 mcg of molybdenum long-term. I have probably only run out for short periods of time, and I can't really say I noticed anything. But I take so much stuff, it's always hard to tell.---------Jackie Actually, I increased to 2000 mcg for a short period of time (weeks, not months), but that was after the first test. And " lunatic ravings " is the last thing I would think of, when it comes to you, and your postings (Unless it takes one to know one :-))))) Anyway, puns aside, I have always enjoyed your postings, and miss that you haven't been around as much And actually, after Kris posting that she takes more, I may even give a higher dose a trial, to see if I notice anything.----------Jackie -- --
Guest guest
told me to take 1000 mcg molybdenum with each meal, for a total of 3000 per day. I don't think I notice any effect (altho perhaps my MCS is slightly better), because I've always taken some, and because my bigger problem is adrenal -- I'm still trying to figure out a treatment while being conservative with cortisol. But my brother said he began feeling poorly recenlty and determined it was because he'd run out of molybdenum. Thorne (from ) makes a 1000 mg size. > So do you take it all at once, or spread out through the day? Do you notice a difference in taking it? What symptoms does it help?
