My well water tested at 7 ppb, which isn't over the limit, but with me already having a mercury burden and being a poor excretor of metals, it was high enough to cause problems for me. It showed up very high on hair tests for me and my kids. And I would have never known this, if I hadn't done hair tests looking for mercury and deranged mineral transport. I would still be drinking my arsenic water. So because of situations like this, I strongly advise people to do at least one hair test, because it might help you discover a hidden problem, that you never knew you had. Another example is copper toxicity. Most people don't know they have it until they do a hair test.
