Guest guest Posted September 10, 2008 Report Share Posted September 10, 2008 Glycine and HCL are two different things. HCL ,or betaine hydrochloric acid supplies the acid in the stomach. Glycine is an amino acid found naturally in the food we eat. This is what helps with bile flow. Page 155 of AI it will help with nausea . I have been on HCL for several years , It seems that not until adding the glycine has my bile improved.
