ALA dosing shedule - 2h instead of 3h interval

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to share my recent experience from increasing dosing

frequency.

The last couple of rounds I've decreased the interval between my doses

to 2h during the day (05:00-23:00) and 3h for the two doses at nigt

(one at 02:00 and the other at 05:00). I'm currently taking ALA at

12.5 mg.

This 2h-schedule seems to be significantly easier on my system. I have

much less of the symptoms I typically associated with rounds, which

were mostly chest tightness and heart palpitations.

I'm even considering increasing the dosage to 25 mg / dose, since it

appears that my symptoms during chelation have mostly come from dips

in the ALA blood-levels between the 3h doses during the day (I think I

have a high " burn rate " /high metabolism). 3h seems like good

compromise during the night because of the supposedly lower metabolism

and the increase in sleep quality.

Best regards,

Finkle

Background:

¤ Age ~30

¤ No amalgams (ever)

¤ My father was a dentist & my mother worked as a dental nurse before,

during and after her pregnancy

¤ I used to clean my fathers dental practice for a couple of hours

every weekend, from the age of ~13 to ~18.

¤ I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease (IBD) when I was 14 years old.

¤ Nowadays I have IBS-like symtoms which during bad periods tend more

towards IBD

¤ My worst IBD symptoms seem to go away if I start a round of ALA when

I feel the IBD coming (this has been repeated ~8 times since I noticed

the correlation the first time)
