Guest guest
I have a chronic cough with my lung mets but I wanted to tell anyone who has this that I have found temporary relief with oxycodone 5 mg without tylenol. If anyone has any liver mets they should NOT take tylenol in any form. I have tried almost everything on the market and nothing works as well for a cough suppressant as the oxycodone. I am going to a pulmonary specialist in two weeks to try either laser therapy or Brachytherapy depending on what my doctor thinks would be best for me. Does anyone on the list have a cough and if so, what do you do for it? Merry Christmas to all! Kit
Guest guest
Kit Thanks for sharing that with us. I am sure it will help someone here. Thankfully my breathing problems are related to COPD and not lung mets. I have yet to get to see a pulmonary doc. My primary handles it all, except for when I need a PFT - breathing test and then I get to see one of the techs. I liked Oxycondone for my back pain - but have since stopped using it, and back to Tylenol. At least I can still use that, thank goodness. Can't take aspirin (Excedrin was always my OTC drug of choice) because I am on coumadin.. Hope your Christmas was a merry one and hope you have a great new year.
