Guest guest
>>>Me? Oh my God how do you deal with losing someone this wonderful? I thank God for every minute of our 20 years together but yes I want 20 or 30 more nevermind that 25th anniversary we won't get. I can't imagine my life without him don't want to and seldom go there it hurts too much. >>>> Dear Narice, My heart goes out to you, and to Donelle. Although the marriage vows say, " until death do us part " .... " in sickness and in health " .....oh, how unprepared we are for the possibility that one of the most important things we may have to do in our life is to help the one we love to leave us. The cruelty of it all. After all, you are joined together as one. This man is the other part of you, and you of he. I was just thinking about how the disciples must have felt when Jesus went through the pain of the cross. How they must have felt so helpless, so sick inside, and yes, so abandoned! Nothing to do to stop it. This Man whom they had wrapped their whole life around. But you know, He promised " I go to prepare a place for you. " Well, I believe that with all of my heart. I believe He has a place , a beautiful place beyond our imaginations even, that our loved one will go to. And our loved one is going to prepare it for their mate. And some day, it will be enjoyed together, the two partners, with Him. I think it had to be done that we have no memory of that place when we come to this earth. He has to erase it from our minds. If He didn't, we would be yearning for it all the time and would never get His work done here on earth. I don't believe He did it just to deprive us of knowing how wonderful it is, He had to. He made us so He knew we wouldn't be able to function here if we knew the glory ahead. Just wanted to share those few thoughts with you two, and anyone else it might help, I hope it does....help, I mean and not hurt to think of these things.
